i feel like such a bad nerd.
i mean, ‘lotr’ is out and i haven’t seen it yet.
when i was young i read the ‘lotr’ trilogy over and over and over again.
i even made middle-earth-style maps of my neighborhood (i know, that’s a very pathetic detail of my childhood that i probably should’ve kept to myself).
maybe i’ll go see ‘lotr’ this weekend, but i’m sure that the theaters will be mobbed with my fellow nerds who at that point will have seen the movie 8 times and will already be discussing it’s finer points and inconsistencies (if there are any, i’ve heard that it’s pretty flawless).
