i was just on my roof doing some spring cleaning and i found all of my old laminates from the early 90’s.
a ‘laminate’, by the way, is a pass enclosed in plastic that enables musicians to walk around freely backstage.
i found my lollapalooza laminates, and tons and tons of early rave laminates.

and the tours that i did with the prodigy and richie hawtin and etc.
so i’ve just had a laminated walk down memory lane.
i even found a laminate for a bjork after-show party from 1994.
and somehow i ended up with butch vig’s laminate from a new music seminar from the early 90’s. i don’t want to sound like a laminated nostalgiaizer (i’ve decided that that’s a real word), but was it really 11 years ago that i went on tour with the prodigy for the first time?
