6 years ago i said that the music business was going to be irrevocably changed by the digitization of music.
6 months ago i said that the election cycle’s big story was going to be voter turnout, and not swing voters.
ah well.
trust me on this, the headlines on november 3rd will be about voter turnout and the gop’s attempt to suppress the vote.
just watch.
the republicans will do everything in their power to suppress the vote in the democratic strongholds of the swing states.
they will move polling places.
they will try to frustrate registered voters.
they will destroy registration cards.
in short, they will do everything that they can to subvert the democratic process.
which, when coupled with their record over the last 4 years, should tell you something about their hearts and inclinations.
republicans, in their current incarnation, have no interest in liberty or democracy.
if you don’t believe me, just watch what they do in the next 10 days…
