just got back, and now it looks as if i’ll be in nyc for a month. which is exciting.
although i don’t know what sort of masochistic issues i have that lead me to believe that nyc in february and march is exciting. but it’s exciting to just be in one place for a while and just work on music and get fat.

also! i forgot to mention that my friend miyun park and i have guest edited a great book called ‘gristle’. it comes out in march, and it’s pretty impressive (i can say this, as i didn’t actually write any of the chapters). it’s a factual and expert look at the ramifications of animal production, as written by experts in their respective fields. it looks at the effects of animal production on climate change, childrens health, community health, the environment, and other areas effected by animal production.
it’s being released by the new press, and i’ll be travelling around promoting a bit. and, of course, neither miyun or i are making a penny from the book, with all proceeds going to animal organizations:
