so, just for fun i went to a right-wing christian website and had a look around. my goodness, these people are quite fixated on homosexuality. it just seems so odd for the religious right to be so obsessed with something that christ never mentioned. i know, i know, i’ve said this before, but it really does seem so weird. but here’s their:

are they serious?
well, they are serious, unfortunately.
i want to start a series of debates between people who disagree with each other(i.e-pro choice and anti-choice, religious right and religious left, republican and democrat, etc). there are so many people in the united states whose ideas are baffling to me(i.e-republicans who support bush even though he’s created the largest federal gov’t in the history of the u.s, christians who support the war in iraq and the death penalty, pro-life people who kill abortion providers, etc). i want to meet them and find out what they’re actually thinking.
i make the naive assumption that a lot of these people are quite decent but are just misinformed and confused(one group called ‘human rights watch’ an advocacy group for the militantly gay…).
maybe they really are just insane. i have no idea.
