just as an aside: a washington-post/abc poll found that only two percent of americans think that members of the house and senate are even slightly more ethical than average americans.
and a majority of americans believe that members of the house and senate are considerably less ethical than average americans.
i wonder why this is?
could it be due to the fact that almost every single republican, from bush to cheney to delay to frist to etc to etc are being investigated or are under indictment for ethics violations?
the republicans have become the party of sleaze and corruption.
they’re gross. they need to go.
apart from a few exceptions, like john mccain, the republicans have become the political equivalent of dung-beetles.
except that dung-beetles are cuter and actually serve more of a purpose.
