utterly random update.
first: lost my 5th grammy award nomination thingy. my goal is now to be the grammy-losingest musician in history. i think it would be funny if i was nominated for a grammy every year and always lost. and then maybe when i was 140 years old they could give me the ‘lifetime underachievement award’ for consistently losing.
that would be funny. well, to me anyway.
next: gregory peck. i was talking about gregory peck earlier. what an amazing man. i honestly think that he could serve as a great role-model for a lot of people. in watching interviews with him i’ve always been impressed with his dignity, compassion, and intelligence. 3 cheers for gregory peck.
next: cranberry jjuice. when you are really in the mood for it, cranberry juice is great.
next: harold and the purple crayon. when i was very little this was my favourite book. i was in a bookstore yesterday and i re-bought ‘harold and the purple crayon’. i posit that this is one of the best childrens books ever. if i had children it would be one of the first books that i ever read to them. that and ‘where the wild things are’ and ‘the giving tree’ and ‘the lorax’ and ‘mcgelligots pool’ and ‘the collected cartoons of charles adams’.
add these to my list of recommendations.
