it’s fun to watch the republicans continue to fall apart.
it really is.
let’s see…
federal spending is up 49 percent under bush, and that’s not even including spending on the war.
the war is a disastrous quagmire.
almost everybody in a leadership position in the republican party or in the white house is involved in scandal, is under investigation, or is being indicted.
bush’s approval rating is at a new low of 33%.
and so on and so on.
it’s just a shame that the democrats and the left aren’t more actively promoting their own agenda and taking advantage of the republican miasma.
the left’s strategy does seem to be: let’s hope that the republicans continue to screw up.
my fantasy is that the democrats will somehow re-gain control of the house and then start impeaching people in the white house for ethics violations and lying about the information used in the run-up to the war and etc.
oh well. politics. yee-haw.
