boy that’s a big storm…
isabel didn’t really hit nyc (we got some very strong winds and a little bit o’ rain, but that was it).
but i was just looking at the satellite image of the storm and it’s huge, like a big extra-terrestrial jellyfish monster, smeared over the eastern seaboard.
and having lived on the aforementioned eastern seaboard for a long time i’ve never seen a storm go up and around new york city.
maybe it’ll come back.
but it’s big and gelatinous looking.
sort of like the earth was driving down a highway and it hit some big bug which is now smeared on the windshield.
ok, enough analogies.
