Journal / Interweb problems…

ok,
we’ve been having some email/interweb problems lately, so that’s why i haven’t had a new journal entry in a few days.
i’ve been sending them in, but apparently they’ve been lost in the void of interwebspace.
now we’re in d.c.
and i have this nice view of the potomac and the washington monument.
d.c really is a strange place to have our nation’s capital.
wasn’t it a malaria ridden swamp at one point? who looks at a malaria ridden swamp and says ‘this is where the capital of our fledgling nation shall sit.’
d.c is such a steamy place. which actually makes me feel good. that way all of the politicians and lobbyists who have so actively contributed to global-warming have to sweat in their wool suits during d.c’s sweltering summers.
it would be easy to ignore global warming if our nation’s capital were in, oh, greenland.
(and yes, i know that greenland isn’t part of the united states. for now…).
but global warming is writ large in d.c every summer. although in reality i doubt that the politicians and lobbyists even notice as they’re shuttled from one heavily air-conditioned brothel to another.
ok, i’m perhaps too cynical. the brothels might not be heavily air-conditioned.
i mean, no self-respecting politician or lobbyist wants a call-girl with the sniffles, right?
so i’m sorry that my journal entries haven’t been posted for the last few days.
hopefully we’ve fixed the problem.
but if you’re not reading this then we haven’t fixed the problem.
but if you’re reading this then we’ve fixed the problem.
it’s all quite clear, right?
