Journal / Interesting Party

ok, time to turn off the radio. too distracting.
it’s hard to concentrate on my update with morning shock-jocks yelling at me.

i went to a fancy party at the museum of metropolitan art last night, and it was interesting, for it paired fashion with politics.  and i was treated to the strange spectacle of jaded fashionistas having to recite the pledge of allegiance along with laura bush and hillary clinton.

oh well, it was an interesting party. and it always feels a bit strange walking around the museum of metropolitan art after hours, sort of similar to how it used to feel to be at elementary school for p.t.a night with my mom.
long empty hallways that are usually bustling with people.
odd.

and apart from that…it’s still summer here in nyc, which is wonderful.

walking around the city at night when the air is humid and warm is, and i know i’ve written this before, one of the nicest things in the world.

ok, time to go and install a new high-tech security system in my studio.
