sorry i’ve been incommunicado for the last couple of days.
i’m up in the country and i just figured out how to get on-line.
it’s amazing the number of things in our lives that we don’t notice when they’re working well(i.e-bodies, phones, internet, heat, cars, subways, governments, etc), but that make themselves glaringly apparent in their absence(even if that sounds like an oxymoron).
at home i have a wireless high speed connection, so up here in the country it’s a bit disconcerting to look at the little air-port icon and see…nothing.
(but, having said that, it’s nice to look out of the windows and see trees for as far as the eye can see…so it’s sort of a trade-off).
ok, time for breakfast(tree-bark, dirt, maybe some old leaves).
