i just got back from shambhala fest in british columbia. and i need some sleep.
i wanted to write a little update about the space itself, as it's a really remarkable permanent installation lodged in a valley near salmo, b.c.
i walked around on the first day when people were arriving and i took some daylight pictures of the structures and the first arrivals and when they were testing out the sound systems. then later that night i took a few pictures as i was dj'ing.

i'd write more from an architectural perspective but honestly i need to go to sleep. mea culpa, i choose sleep over architecture, at least right now. my eyelids feel like sandbags.
goodnight.
and thanks to everyone who organized and attended shambhala fest. it was a really remarkable weekend.
thanks
