how’s this for fun…
the war in iraq is costing us(and by ‘us’ i mean ‘us’. it’s our money. we pay taxes.)-

$244.2 million per day

or, to get more specific:

$170,000 per minute

just think of that when you’re paying your federal taxes.
on average, each taxpayer in the united states has contributed $2,379 to pay for the war in iraq.

how does that make you feel?
isn’t paying taxes for a poorly planned war(remember ‘mission accomplished’ 3 years ago??)
fun?
aren’t you glad that your thousands of dollars are going to ‘bring democracy to iraq’
as opposed to, say, ‘bring fire trucks to iowa’ or, say, ‘bring teachers to your community’, or, say,
‘bring health care to children’?

just a reminder, the war in iraq is costing you and me $244,200,000.00 every day.
think of that when you send in your taxes.
and feel free to write ‘not for iraq’ on the envelope.
it’s the biggest and most colossal waste of taxpayers dollars in the history of the united states.
