this song by ja-rule cracks me up. a love song sung by the cookie monster. i do have to say that hot97 improves the quality of life in nyc. well, it improves the quality of my life, anyway.
i just wish they’d play that memphis bleek song again. i’m such a teeny-bopper when it comes to hip-hop and r&b. i get all excited when my favourite songs come on. the only problem is that i have no idea
who the artists are unless they give themselves shout outs in their songs. maybe that’s why hip-hop artists reference themselves so often in their music, cos the dj’s never announce the names of the songs or the artists.
the funny thing about the ja-rule song is that his co-vocalist is lil’mo.

maybe i could be j-mo instead. although i imagine that a video wherein i rolled around on the beach wouldn’t be quite as compelling as j-lo doing the same thing.
