yesterday i was given my high school yearbook that i hadn’t seen since i graduated.
i was such a depressed little new-wave kid.
my yearbook quote was from ‘love will tear us apart’, and i’m even wearing a joy division(‘still’ on a grey background)pin.
and my spikey little hair(hair…i remember hair).
i also found 2 mission of burma set lists(from pogos and danceteria)in my yearbook(i think that i will frame them).
and lots of inappropriate things that my friends wrote that will forever remain unpublished because they are pretty gross.
high school. what an appropriate name for most of the kids in my class(lots of grateful dead yearbook quotes).
last year was my reunion, and i’m sad that i missed it. i wish that i had had the chance to see the people with whom i went to school. are they fat? skinny? happy? single? married? kids? dogs? cats? llama’s?
the more things change, etc.
