i'm heading to australia now.
the short 14 hour flight from l.a to sydney.
then: adelaide, sydney, melbourne, brisbane, perth, l.a.
l.a around new years is generally pretty amazing.
and when did i stop writing in paragraphs?
decades ago, apparently.
poor paragraphs, r.i.p.
maybe as a cognitive discipline i should start writing in paragraphs again.
a small, simple new years resolution.
to re-embrace the humble paragraph.
in closing, here's a picture of my 21st century cliche'd kitchen table.
if i were cool my kitchen table would be covered with matchbooks from strip-clubs and phone numbers from pop stars.
clearly: i'm not cool(unless kindles and tea cups have suddenly become hipster accessories).
