good morning everybody, being possessed of great cultural sensitivities and extremely higbrow tastes (ahem, i’m trying to be facetious) i went to see ‘monsters inc’ last night.
and it fucking rocked. oh what a wonderful movie. i don’t know who else here has seen it, but i loved every second of it and i’m sure that i’ll go see it again. what a flawless movie.
so that’s my cultural recommendation for the weekend. go see ‘monsters inc’ and bask in the glory of a big-budget hollywood movie that is actually wonderful for a change.
i honestly think that if the terrorists were to see this movie that they would stop hating us.
how could anyone hate a country that could produce such a sweet little movie?
now, being the pop-culture sucker that i happen to be, i have to go out and buy the merchandise… well, probably not. but if they have a little rubber doll of the green one-eyed guy i might be tempted to buy it.
