happy presidents day!
presidents day, along with the world series and columbus day and the 4th of july, is a holiday that is celebrated everywhere across the globe, and not just here in the united states.
perhaps we could combine some of our holidays, for fun and efficiency, and come up with, say, ‘the world series of presidents’, or ‘groundhog columbus day’?
presidents day really is a fantastic time to sit back and think of the selfless men and women(oops, ‘men’)who have occupied our nations highest office.
these are men and women(sorry, ‘men’)who have mastered that delicate dance of compromised principles and representing special interests all the while maintaining completely disingenuous positions on most of the issues that they’ve had to deal with.
ok, i’m being too cynical.
i’m sure that i’m only describing 98% of the presidents, certainly not all of them.
