happy 4th of july. which is just another day everywhere else in the world. but here in america it’s a celebration of independence via blowing things up and barbecuing.
i went over to my friend damian’s roof and watched the fireworks in the distance while eating watermelon and talking to his daughter about frogs (she’s 3). here are some pictures.
oh, in other news: it’s really hot in nyc. almost unbelievably hot. poor tourists looking look stunned and wilted ambulatory flowers walking down the street.
