this might seem frivolous, what with the impending war and deadly pneumonia and collapsing economies, but i’ve just heard the new goldfrapp cd and it’s really great.
quite different to their first cd, which i loved, but also very good.
especially the song ‘black cherry’.

i went to see ‘goldfrapp’ last night, and i have to say that i was really impressed.
she(alison goldfrapp)is a chanteuse.  if you ever get the chance to go and see them, please do, they’re wonderful.  it’s just a shame that they have to play in concert venues or rock clubs.  they should play in dark little places with old velvet drapes on the walls.
oh well.
meanwhile in nyc…still very hot outside, still naked.
how can anyone walk around their home with clothes on when it’s 95 degrees outside?
one of the downsides of having skylights is that my home becomes a quasi-oven when it’s really hot and sunny outside.
oh no, i’m writing about the weather again.  i’m so dull.
i’ll try to be interesting in the future, but trust me, it won’t be easy.
maybe if i write about the weather and pepper my prose(nice aliteration)with pornography and politics i’ll at least seem interesting.
i.e-what a beautiful day(for having indiscriminate sex in front of a camera crew while watching c-span).
