you know what’s terrific?
glass is terrific.
just imagine a world without glass. no windows. no skylights. no planes. etc.
just imagine how dreary and dark our lives would be without glass. and there’s nothing else in the world that’s as transparent as glass. there are lots of hard things to make a house out of. there are lots of hard things to make hammers out of. there are lots of soft things to make clothes out of. but there’s only one thing that’s strong and transparent. glass.
so let’s hear it for glass.
