so now we’re getting ready to leave belo horizonte to fly to sao paolo and then buenos aires.
we’ve really enjoyed ourselves in brasil, and hopefully we’ll be able to come back soon.
and i’m excited to see buenos aires(even if it’s for one day…),

we had a big ‘end of brazilian tour’ party last night and now my little bald head is kind of hurting.
luckily today is not such a demanding day and luckily the hotel makes fantastic fresh orange juice and watermelon juice.
but i’m still feeling a bit slow.
and i was just looking at the news about rita.
these monster hurricanes are so bizarre, because they have the capacity to create so much destruction but yet they move so slowly.
it’s like a gigantic explosion just slowly inching towards land.
i hope that the people of the gulf coast and fema and the feds and the local governments are prepared(or as prepared as anyone can be)this time, and that the suffering and loss of life won’t be as terrible as it was from katrina.
