hi,
so last night i received an award at the german dance music awards.
it made me think of my first ever performance outside of the united states, which was in germany in 1990(i know…a long time ago…).
it was organized by westbam and dj dick from low spirit, and they were also the first people to release one of my records(‘times up’ by the brotherhood, and ‘mobility/go’).
so this award has a very special significance for me, and i want to say special thanks to all of the people in the german dance music community for giving me this award!

p.s-it was also nice to see new order, and to see them receive the ‘lifetime achievement award.’ and even though i like robbie williams, i still think that joy division should have won ‘best song of the last 30 years’ at the brits for ‘love will tear us apart’.
