so some of y’all (sometimes i really wish i was southern. really. like walker percy.) have been complaining about the rapidity with which posts on the ‘general’ board seem to disappear. the reason for that is, of course, that there are a lot of people here who are posting a lot of posts.
which is good. which is really good, actually.
that’s what keeps this web-site so lively.
my suggestion to those of you who are frustrated with the rapidity which with things disappear from the ‘general’ boards is that you stake out some space on one of the lesser used boards (‘upcoming tours’ & ‘fan creations’ are rarely trafficked).
and, oh, by the way, i’m perfectly aware that with my advice i’m pointing out the obvious here. it’s one of my specialties, pointing out the obvious, that is.
and i think that the frivolous character of the ‘general’ boards these days is probably a healthy response to the very serious character that they had for the first couple of weeks after the wtc was destroyed.
like i said, i’m pretty good at pointing out the obvious.
and now it’s back to work.
and oh, by the way, most tv-shows, etc don’t have to get my permission to use my music. trust me, i never in a million fucking years would actually give my permission to allow my music to be used for a ‘pro-fox hunting’ commercial. ugh.
