Journal / gas prices are high, right?

gas prices are high, right?
and last summer they were really high, right?
and this summer they’re going to be really high, right?
well, when you’re filling up your car please keep in mind that lee raymond, the former ceo of exxon/mobil, has on average made $144,573 every day that he’s been employed by exxon/mobil for the last 10 years.
that’s right.
his daily salary for the last ten years has averaged
out to $144,573.
per day.
or, $686,000,000.00 for the last 10 years.
that’s his executive compensation.
i’d just like to say it again.
he is one person.
and he has been the ceo of exxon/mobil.
and his salary for the last 10 years has been $686,000,000.00, or $144,573 per day.
it does go without saying that he’s an old friend of bush and cheney and that exxon/mobil are huge supporters of the republican party(the party who have been in charge while gas prices are at an all time high, the party who’ve created the largest deficit in the history of the u.s, the party who’ve created the largest federal government in the history of the u.s, the party who’ve given us a war that’s cost each tax payer $2,500 a year, and the party whose leaders are being investigated and indicted).
the war in iraq is really nothing more than corporate welfare/subsidies for the oil and defense industries.
