so tonight i played a concert/fundraiser for moveon pac.org, and it was really fun.
the right wing media will invariably criticize the event(howard dean and al franken and janeane garofalo all spoke…and well, i might add).
perry farrel was great, the roots were great, al and janeane were very funny, and the new ads are amazing. i especially love the benny boom ad, and i hope that move-on uses his ad to mobilize the youth voters.
kudos especially to laura dawn for organizing the event as well as executive producing most of the ads.
very impressive work…here’s hoping that people are actually receptive to creative, effective, and informative advertisements from remarkable directors.
