it’s a little bit odd, when a headline says ‘stocks soar!’ in describing a djia that is 8,500. if the djia had dropped to 8,500 2 years ago stockbrokers would’ve been jumping out of windows. oops, what i meant to say was, ‘yeah! so we’re on tour and shit is rockin’! last night we were partyin’ and shit and it was totally rad! big ups to all my peeps, yo!’

no more updates about financial markets, i promise. although i do always have a little frisson of amusement when i hear tv journalists say ‘ftse'(pronounced ‘footsie’).
and i will never use the word ‘frisson’ in an update again. i promise.
