now i don’t know what it’s like where you live, but here in nyc we now have free copies of ‘the onion’ available in those little plastic ‘free-newspaper’ boxes. and they’re on a lot of street-corners, so ‘the onion’ is now free and easy to come by in nyc. which is terrific. and did you know that ‘the onions’ offices are in nyc now? they used to be in madison, wisconsin (which is certainly a fine, fine place), but now they’re right here in the bigapple. yet another thing to make nyc a lovely place to live. now i’m off to a few halloween parties. and i’m not getting dressed up, cos i couldn’t think of anything interesting to dress up as (and all of my costume ideas would’ve looked pretty stupid with my glasses on, and i don’t have contact lenses, so no dress up for me).
