just for the record, what i wrote about ronald reagan was in no way intended to slander him as a person, rather it was intended as an objective reminder regarding his record as president.
as i said, he seemed like a nice man with a sunny disposition.

ugh, i get very frustrated when people respond to very small parts of my journal entries.
for the record, i don’t plan on buying a dog from a pet-store.
if the more contentious among you had read the journal entry you would see that i said in very strong language that i hate pet stores. i was trying to make a point about just how beaurocratic and poorly run most of the shelters are in nyc.

my point is as follows: people who work in shelters should actively try to help the people who are interested in adopting companion animals as opposed to seemingly doing everything in their power to try and frustrate and prevent people from adopting companion animals.
i will continue to go to shelters and i will continue to be dismayed at how poorly they’re run.
