regardless of anyones political orientation, i think that we can all agree that opening up the alaskan wildlife refuge to oil drilling would have disastrous results for the environment. with that in mind i encourage you all to go to the following site and let your voice be heard on this issue:

it is worth keeping in mind that if drilling were to proceed in the alaskan wildlife refuge that the oil would not reach the market for 10 years. so any talk on the part of gw bush indicating that the oil is needed for the california energy crisis is pure fallacy.
