i’m flying somewhere over the big bread-basket of the u.s.
and i’m paranoid that my fellow passengers are reading this update as i write it. funny that i would feel self-concious about people reading something that is intended for people to read.
and i decided to get all crazy and punk rock and have a cup of in-flight coffee. i know, i’m a bad-ass. coffee in the afternoon. what’s next?
dogs and cats living together in sin? ant-farm brothels?
and there’s that rascally imp harry potter on the in-flight monitor.
what sort of hijinks is he getting up to?
did anyone else find this movie to be a disappointment? the books were so much fun, the movie kind of let me down. i know, everyone’s a critic.
and i’m listening to the strokes album for the first time in a long while.
i don’t know what it’s called, but track 4 is such a sexy and pretty song.
it’s the one ‘i wanna steal your innocence…made pretend we were best friends.’
that one. what a nice song. was this ever a single? it’s definitely my favourite song of off their album. although ‘is this it?’ (track 1) is also quite intimate and sexy. especially the ‘i just want to get to your apartment…’ bit. it reminds me of lots and lots of nice hot and humid new york nights and indiscretions.
has there ever been a band called ‘the indiscretions’? it’d be a great name for a new-wave band.
i wish i had the cure’s ‘standing on the beach’ cd with me. oh wait, does that have ‘caterpillar’ on it? i haven’t listened to the cure in a while. maybe it’s time to go back and listen to some cure cd’s. excuse me, i’m indulging in my new-wave geekiness at the moment. right now i’d like to listen to their nice love songs, ‘in between days’, ‘caterpillar’, etc. although ‘pornography’ is their best cd, imho.
do people still use internet acronyms or have they fallen out of favor? (oops, ‘favour’ for our non-american friends).
well, imho people should use internet acronyms, or i.a’s. imho psu ia’s.
you know what’s nice about flying? that it’s always sunny at 35,000 feet.
