i think that i finally have a favorite simpsons episode.
yes, the world is falling apart and there are about 15,000,000 important things going on that are deserving of attention, but i, solipsistically, choose to write about the simpsons.
ok, it’s the one where homer loses all of the families money and gets a job testing products and they find out that he has a crayon in his brain and they remove it and his iq goes up by 50 points and he learns that the world is a very lonely place for smart people.
the remake of the davey and goliath christian claymation show:
‘what’s that davey?’
‘i’m making a pipe-bomb to blow up planned parenthood, you liberal’, and then makes goliath(who is a dog)eat the pipe bomb, is genius.
and when homer’s getting on-line stock quotes and he accidentally says ‘yahoo! and it gives him the yahoo stock price, then he says ‘oh what’s this pile of crap!’ and he gets the fox news stock price…
and when marge objects to becoming a surrogate mother and homer says:
‘it’s uterus, marge, not uteryou’.
it is my favorite episode.
