Journal / exxon profit

i was just looking at the business section of the new york times and i saw that exxon posted a profit of $11 billion last quarter, and $35 billion for last year.
remember last summer when gas prices were exorbitantly hight?
remember the unnecessary war in iraq, with the second largest oil reserves in the world?
remember our president and vice-president, both of whom used to run oil companies?
i know, i sound like a cliche’d lefty, but when an oil company posts yearly profits of almost $40 billion dollars it should make all of us sit up and ask, ‘huh, i wonder if this has anything to do with corporate nepotism in the white house?’
another good question is, ‘why was the bush administration in such a hurry to go to war in iraq(2nd largest oil reserves in the world)when iraq definitely did not have weapons of mass destruction, and why has this administration turned a blind eye to north korea(no oil reserves)when north korea definitely and without question have weapons of mass destruction?’
in other news: i’m fat and happy from eating vegan pizza last night.
and it’s the end of january and warm and sunny and the weather’s broken.
