oh my goodness.
i know i said i wouldn’t write anything more about having my email address posted on-line, but i need to say a huge and honest thank you to whomever posted my old e-mail address on-line. here’s why:
i spent tonight playing chinese checkers with 5 friends of mine (6 people make for a good, if congested chinese checkers game).
after chinese checkers we went to a birthday party and now it’s 4 a.m and i’m checking my email for the first time today and i checked my old, now public, email address, and i had hundreds and hundreds of the nicest emails that you could ever imagine.
oh my goodness. the amount of love and support that i’ve just received is, honestly, unbelievable. thank you, everybody. 2 days ago the ratio was 60% hate mail and 40% nice mail. after today it’s 95% nice mail and 5% hate mail.
and the nice mails have been literate and informed and heart-warming.
forgive me for gushing, but i’m gushing.
thank you. you’ve made me really happy.
i don’t know if the people who posted my email address were trying to make my life unpleasant, but it’s had the exact opposite result.
really, thank you everybody for the kind and supportive emails.
