in watching the confirmation hearings for john ashcroft i have to say that ted kennedy is rapidly becoming a hero of mine. ashcroft is a scary, scary man. he comes across as bright and flexible, but his record speaks otherwise. he’s a frightening, right wing (gee, frightening and right wing rhyme, how about that…) demagogue. i hope ted kennedy can muster a fillibuster against ashcrofts nomination. lets use dirty republican tricks and tactics against the dirty republicans themselves.
in other news…umm, now that i’m not on tour i guess my life is kind of dull. i spend my days in my studio and i occasionally go out to see friends and eat. so please forgive me if these updates become increasingly dull and mundane…..
maybe i’ll start inventing things to make the updates more scintillating.
