i know that everyone enjoys disco in a campy sort of way, but i think that disco is a sorely underappreciated musical genre. i was listening to tk’s greatest hits(kc and the sunshine band, gwen mcrae, etc)and i was just stunned by how great some of those songs were(‘rock your baby’ in particular). and the musicianship and production was really cool. i think that because disco was fun and frivolous that people didn’t recognize how interesting and well made and sophisticated most of it was.
so let’s hear it for disco.

i do think that ‘rock your baby’ is one of the sweetest songs ever recorded.
‘oh, oh, take me in your arms, rock your baby’ how nice.
i also really love that ‘its too late, to turn back now, i believe i believe i believe i’m falling in love’ song. that’s a really sweet song, too. of course i don’t know the name of that song, but if you know it i’m sure you’ll agree that it’s very sweet.
someday soon i’m going to figure out how to post my pictures on the site. for someone who spends the majority of his time with technology i’m pretty inept when it comes to some very basic stuff.
