day-um (that’s ‘damn’ as said in my new southern drawl).
i woke up in the parking lot today and it sounded like giants were dumping garbage cans full of water on the bus.
rain may be the outdoor-concert-performers worst enemy, but it sounds really nice when it’s falling on the roof of a tour bus. and now i’m trying to find out if the verizon wireless theater is indoors or outdoors. i hope it’s indoors. even though it’s stopped raining in houston it’s still overcast and wet.
the irony is that although playing in the rain is cold and slippery, the lights look really nice in the precipitation.
and i’m about to possibly make a fool of myself, but yesterday in our hotel i saw a sign that said ‘business writing and grammer seminar, room 305’. am i mistaken in believing that it’s actually spelled ‘grammar’?
well, at least it wasn’t a ‘writing, spelling, and grammer’ seminar. the fun stuff that goes on in mid-priced hotels. kiwanis brunches. amway forums. grammer seminars. and so on.
too bad it wasn’t a spoonerism. as in ‘writing and sintax seminar’.
and i’m hoping that tonights venue is ‘wireless’ in the corporate, figurative sense only. i like wires. they enable us to connect guitars toamplifiers and whatnot.
oh, interview time.
bye for now.
