so this is a sort of apology/explanation about the dance tent at area:one. i’m sorry that people have had to wait to get into the tent, and i’m sorry if people, after waiting, haven’t been able to get in. the tent holds 3,000 people, and we were not expecting it to be so popular in themiddle of the day. in general the success of area:one has kind of surprised us all. in the future we are going to pull up the sides of the tent if it gets crowded and if there are people waiting to get in. but for the first 3 shows we didn’t know if we’d be allowed to do that by the local authorities. as far as i know we now have permission to lift the sides. so i’m sorry ifanyone waited in line and wasn’t able to see carl or oakey. but thank you for your patience (and your enthusiasm).
