Journal / Coolest Coin

when i was in the uk i was given a ‘two pound’ coin.
and instead of having a picture of a dead politician or a pineapple or a bridge on the back, it has a 3-d picture of a double-helix strand of dna, thus making it the coolest coin in the world.
it even has the amino acids identified on the pairs.
a-g
c-t
c-g
etc.
what do tgca stand for again?
taurine?
guanine?
cystine?
adenine?
or something?
i would’ve been a scientist, i just didn’t have the smarts for science.

and i don’t know who in the uk treasury department ok’ed the idea of putting a strand of dna on the back of the 2pound coin, but they are welcome to come into teany for a free piece of cake at their convenience because they are so cool.
what if it’s the queens dna?
that way people could clone her in their basements.
we need cool things on the back of american currency. if you look on the back of the $10 bill you’ll see an old picture of the u.s treasury building. maybe we could replace it with a picture of some fetal stem cells?
