does anyone know of any other time zones in the world that are on the 1/2 hour?
cos adelaide is on the 1/2 hour.
so at present it’s 9:30 a.m in adelaide, which means that it’s 6pm in nyc, 11pm in london, etc.
oh, it’s monday here, too.
whereas it’s sunday in the u.s and europe.
and we’re at war. i’ve been watching the war on the news and, like almost everybody else, i have no idea what’s going on.
i saw a news report from iraqi military leaders wherein they said that they had shot down most of the incoming missiles and that they had shot down some american planes. and then the american military says that, no, no planes have been shot down by iraqi’s and no missiles have been shot down by iraqi’s.
i still hope that the war will end fairly quickly and i still hope that as few people as possible will be hurt.
in the meantime i’m just going to be baffled by the conflicting information being fed to us (the coalition forces have taken such and such town, then no they haven’t, etc).
the perth show and the adelaide show we’re both a lot of fun.
i particularly love hearing dianne sing ‘whole lotta love.’
