or evening, depending, of course, upon when you’ll actually be reading this.
i discovered that my ibook has computer chess on it’s hard drive so i’ve been playing computer chess all weekend and the damn computer chess is too good and it always wins and now i feel particularly stupid.
and it wins so easily, that’s the depressing part.
can’t it just play badly every now and then?
i’m not a bad chess player guy man. but i can’t beat the computer and it galls me.
one of my problems is impatience. the computer just sits there and waits for me to make a mistake and then it mercilessly and pitilessly destroys me.
to complete the nerdiness of this update just let me say that playing computer chess against my computer is like playing chess with the borg.
