well, performing at the closing ceremonies was wonderful.
in the stadium during my performances it felt like the biggest rave in history.
i understand from talking to my friends that it didn’t, uh (how to put this diplomatically), get the benign and sympathetic coverage on tv that one could have hoped for (in other words i guess i was treated like the proverbial stepchild). but in the stadium it was amazing.
ah well, i guess in life that one has to take the sweet with the bitter.
see? see how philosophical and diplomatic i’m being?
trust me, it takes a lot of effort right now…
