sorry i haven’t written in a few days.
we were in byron bay at the ‘splendor in the grass’ (as i said in an earlier journal entry…i still hate the word ‘blog’ and i can’t bring myself to refer to my journal entries as ‘blogs’ sorry, i guess i’m a luddite) and i didn’t have the interweb in my room but that was ok because we were staying at a beautiful place called byron at byron that was adjacent to the rainforest and the beach and as much as i love the interweb(and run on sentences)i have to say that spending a couple of days without the interweb wasn’t so bad, especially with the rainforest and the beach at your backdoor.
byron really is one of the most beautiful places in the world.
i understand why so many people end up moving there.
and ‘splendor’ was a fantastic festival with a great line-up in a great location.
now i’m in melbourne getting ready to do the rove show(no relation to karl)and trying to stay awake(didn’t get a whole lot of sleep in byron due to jet lag and general conviviality).
