ok, no nostalgia here. i’ve been listening to records today.
todays favorites are, in no special order:
echoboy
the flaming lips
….and they will know us by the trail of the dead
freescha.
i swear i’ve listened to those freescha cd’s more than any other cd’s in the last 6 months.
they’re so great.
i love them.
i’ve had too much caffeine today.
funny how caffeine sneaks up on you.
say…you might have a cup of green tea. then a cup of coffee.
then another cup of coffee while you’re waiting in the charlie rose green room.
then a chocolate chip clif bar.
then some of that chocolate silk soymilk.
and so on.
and suddenly it’s midnight and your hands are shaking.
and i wonder why i occasionally have insomnia…
that first song on the new echoboy record is really great.
and ‘giraffes’ is a nice name for a cd.
and i have decided that broccoli is the most healthy food in the entire world.
yes, i’m full of fascinating revelations, huh. i think that if you ate brocccoli everyday you would live to be 800 years old.
i need to go have a transfusion to get all of this caffeine out of my system.
