i have heard tell of a ‘made for tv movie’ about george bush on 9-11 that was made by showtime in cooperation with members of the bush administration.
and i have heard that this movie portrays g.w in a ludicrously absurd heroic light. does anyone know about this movie? does it exist? how do i get a copy?
does anyone remember how it took g.w 4 (or 5?) days to actually visit manhattan after 9-11? does anyone remember how the bush administration forced the epa to say that the air in nyc was fine just a few days after 9-11, when the truth is that the fires burned for months and the air was full of toxins and now people in the lower east side (as well as the heroic rescue workers) are dealing with respiratory problems all thanks to the bush administration’s indifference (if not antipathy) to new york city and the people who live and work here?
if this absurd movie exists i would like to see it.
