bush finally apologizing for saying ‘bring it on’.
huh.
seems like it might be kind of cold comfort to the 20,000 american troops who’ve either been killed or wounded after gw bush invited our enemies to ‘bring it on’.
but it’s still nice to see bush in a mode of seemingly genuine contrition.
i wonder if he’ll retire, or be retired, before the end of his term?
he sure looks tired and beaten, which isn’t surprising considering that his presidency has basically been mistake followed by mistake followed by mistake, etc, and now the press and public are finally recognizing the depths of his ineptitude.
