there. usual dull stuff taken care of. but, uh-oh, without the usual dull stuff to fixate on i suddenly find myself with nothing to write about.
uh oh.
i’m reading this interesting book called ‘women on divorce’ and it’s reminded me of the sad fact that almost every woman in the world will at some point be involved in some sort of abusive relationship. and it’s worth reiterating that an abusive relationship is not the woman’s fault. not ever. abuse is the product of neuroses and idiosyncracies on the part of the man. so it is worth remembering that when a man is abusive and critical, it has everything to do with him and nothing to do with any fault of the woman in question.
it’s tragic that there are women who are stuck in abusive relationships and who feel that, for whatever reason, they can’t leave.
