after taking a little spin around the moby.com boards i was once again impressed with how smart and decent and funny and idiosyncratic most of the people who post on moby.com happen to be.
is that a dangling participle?
my grammar is pretty crappy. some people are offended by that.
i know a woman who won’t kiss a man if his grammar is poor.
ok, back to the subject…thanks for making the boards such a wonderful place. i love the fact that you can go through the boards and find posts that are serious and frivolous and reverent and irreverent and earnest and absurd and etc.
i love the fact that no one is censored on the boards, and the fact that even people who hate my guts feel comfortable posting here.
i, of course, don’t love the fact that people hate my guts. but i love the fact that there is dissent here.
and i love the fact that most disagreements tend to get worked out without too much name-calling and animosity.
there’s a lot of name-calling and animosity, too, but it usually fades away, thankfully.
so, thanks again for spending time here and making the moby.com boards really interesting and special.
