you know, the nature of the moby.com boards is such that it’s very difficult to ban people or keep them from posting.
if we ban someone they’ll just come back with a different name.
so here’s what i suggest:
a-try to keep things civil. if someone does something egregiously offensive try not to respond with vitriol or outrage, just ignore them or respond with polite indifference.
b-if someone gets really out of hand or tries to provoke you just ignore them(oops, i just realized that ‘a’ and ‘b’ are kind of the same suggestions).
so that’s what i recommend, if someone bothers you just respond with polite indifference and/or ignore them.
some people come to the moby.com boards just to generate drama and hostility.
if you don’t give them drama or hostility they’ll either go away or learn how to play nice with others.
